By the way did we forget to introduce our new puppy to you ?
"INDY" is from our Chablis X Tama litter born in May,look out for her in the
rings she will make her first apearance at the Paris Show in January , her
official name is V'Independance Endeavour De Champernoune she was 4 months
on these pics guess if she stands still a minute I must do some updated ones
of this crazy loving girl!!!

and here's an update of our lovely Boogie at just  12 months of age.

Mr Arnould from Belgium made us proud by winning best of breed  from Jr
class with his puppy bitch U2

5th of December-Rouen INT-
Our last show of the year was great fun Bruno won CAC+CACIB+B.O.S this
finished his International title his sister Chanel won Cac+CaCib+BOB and 4th
in group so she is INT Champion too now!!!
We had our first Tony daughter, Boogie  out for her first show and waouhh
did she show...
She won Best Jr her Brother was Best Opp Sex Jr and then won 4th in Jr Group.
Poggs was second in Jr Male too.

28th of November -Gerona INT -Spain
Our Friend Chris from Greece just sent us "Bruno" for a few months to show
him a little around Europe so CH Second Thoughts de Champernoune came with
us to Gerone and proudly won Cac+Cacib+BOB
his Sister Chanel , CH Slave To The Rythm De Champernoune also won CAC+CACIB
and B.O.S

29th of August -Romorantin CACS.
This is a local show in a lovely park so we decided to have a nice day out
and took Captain, Chanel, and Jiffy in Jr
Chanel(CH Slave To The Rythm De Champernoune) won CAC and B.O.S
Captain (CH Kuroi-Kao Cessna's Last Flight) won Cac and B.O.B +3rd in Group
and Jiffy won Best Junior in Breed, Best of Group Jr and 3rd in the Best In
Show line up...needless to say we had a great day.
Captain behaved like a big pussy cat and loved every moment.

5th of June- European Dog Show BARCELONA - SPAIN -
As We were quite busy with our westies, we had only entered one bitch puppy
in Akitas and were thrilled to win the title of BEST PUPPY IN BREED and
European Promise.


Jiffy aka Minda's Catch Me Quick For Champernoune stole
everyones heart and showed like a pro...

8th of May was the French Club Show our judge was Mr JOUANCHICOT
This show is a lovely outside show but this year the weather was awfull,
with pouring rain and really cold temperatures but even with slightly wet
dogs we still managed to capture :
Best Junior in Show with Selected Red Voodoo Champernoune (Duece)

Best Puppy in show was awarded to our newly arrived red girl Minda's catch
me quick for Champernoune (Jiffy)...who beat

Unusual French Kiss (Poggs)
owned by Anne Sophie Grawitz who was Best Male Puppy.

CAC & BOS was our lovely Star's N Stripes de Champernoune (Mary) who
finished her french Championship in Style.
Res CAC was Howl Melody's Such a Clear Round for Champernoune (Tahoma)owned
by Marielle De Faria.

got another CC towards his Australian Championship

2nd May

Second Thoughts de Champernoune aka "Bruno" Won his final CC towards his
Greek championship and was placed 3rd in the group!!!!
well done Chris and good luck with his kids who will hit the ring quite
soon!
"Bruno" will hopefully come over here towards the end of this year to be
campaigned in Europe... look out for him!!

28th of April
After a great trip to California we are happy to welcome our new long
awaited puppy girl: Jiffy

her official name is : Minda's Catch Me Quick For Champernoune and she'll
definitely catch your eye when you meet her in a show ring look out for her
at the European show in Barcelona in June .

Her mother "Zilly" won BOB at the show in Hollister that week end and her
father "Catcher" won Best In Show at the Golden Gate Akita Club Speciality
last month...
We are also VERY gratefull to Francee & Hollie for letting us bring back
their lovely big red boy ...
This big red boy is no other than CH Kuroi-Kao Cessna's Last Flight aka
CAPTAIN.
Captain is the proud father of this years Junior World Champion Bitch "Roca"
He has also produced several other champions including the lovely  CH
Mystik's Hav-Ta-Go-Sho winner of the prestigious bred by class at the 2001
Natl.
Captain is quickly learning french and is definitely loving the Frenchstyle
Chicken meals!!!!

11th of April
Frejus INT Show- Judge : Mr Medard -Ringuet
Tony and Mary win both CAC+CACIB with Tony BOB and again placed in group!

9th of April was Monaco International .
As I was in the breed ring winning the CACIB+BOS with DeeDee the scottie my
best friend & Top handler Marie France stepped in the ring with Tony and
Mary and won Both Cac+Cacib's with Tony winning BOB.
I then handled him in the group ring and was thrilled to be placed second in a
very tough group!
This also finishes Tony and Mary's Monaco Championship!

3rd of April
We decided to go check the site for the next olympic games in Athens and
here's the Marathon road...no joke!!!LOL


We enjoyed the greek food & drink imensly and had a fantastic time with one
of our best friends Chris Konstantinidis .
We also went to the Athens INT dog show and there I was thrilled to handle
Chris's dog "Bruno"aka Second Thoughts De Champernoune to another CAC+CACIB
+ BOB !


and even if not akita related I'll still take this opportunity to brag about
winning res BEST IN SHOW with my westie Sargeant Pepper de Champernoune !!!

TONY won CACIB+BOB also selected from the group in the final 4.

Luxemburg INT Show -Judge Mrs Kuffer

Vuitton went for her first show since her apearance in puppy class at the
world show and she did really well winning CAC+CACIB+BOS
 Tony won CAC+CACIB+BOB so he is proud to add the title of Luxemburg
Champion to his other titles already won previously.

At the same time as the Gent International Dog show in Belgium , was held
the Japan Kennel Club Specialty Show hosted by the Belgian Akita Club
 Breed Specialist DR Sophia Kaluzniacki from USA was our judge and waouhhhhh
WHAT A DAY!!!!!!
"Kiss" (Shykiss But Wild Kiss De Champernoune ) owned by Louisa Allen and
Katharina Round won Open Dog Class shown by Mr Arnould who is taking care of
him for a year.
Tony was Res CAC+ Res CACIB and finished his International Championship
And our proud MARY did the rest....winning CAC + CACIB + B.O.B in front of
the two 2003 WORLD champions , she also finished her International Title in
Style...
Her next shows will be Poitiers and Monaco look out for her...

just had news from our "CHANEL" sister to Kiss & Vuitton ,
she is living near Moscow with Olga Korotkova of the famous Black Russian
Terrier  kennel "Barby s Bronnich"
She has already 4 CAC and 4 CACIB's all with BOB!
we look forward to her next show results!

Arrival of  the lovely puppy bitch : U'R my Champernoune Du Domaine d'Arinella Bianca aka " Boogie"

GOOD LUCK TO LOUISA WITH OUR "WILD KISSER"

Luxemburg INT Show CH Serdess Darq Shadows finished her  LUXEMBURG CH title by winning B.O.S her Daughter MARY won Best Junior and  was 3rd in the Jr Group.

French Club Show 2002 Mrs Meg Purnell-Carpenter (Overhill Kennels UK) came over from UK to judge the 2002 club show held at the INT show of Mantes La Jolie (Near Paris) She chose an 8 month old  puppy as her BEST IN SHOW, and this puppy is no other than : SAN-FRAN SYSKO KID DE CHAMPERNOUNE his owners Mr & Mrs LECOSSAIS were absolutely over the moon ! Sysko was Junior French Champion,  Best Male, B.O.B and Best In Show what a day!!! GO SYSKO GO... His Sister "Mary"  Stars'N Stripes De Champernoune  was French Junior Champion too. Our CH Miss'A was Best Champion but as usual misbehaved in the ring!!!  Kissing everybody in her unique naughty girl attitude!!

- Paris Dog Show 12-01-2002 - Judge:  Mr Janicot Tama was awarded Best Of Breed at this show for the 3rd year in a row... well done... And our Shadow won Best of Opposite Sex C'N'C came to cheer on his father at the Paris Show, and kiss all the ringsiders!

AMSTERDAM WORLD SHOW 2002 While Bruno was watching the Tennis finals in Wimbledon, Tony ,Mary and Vuitton were playing around on the bed in the Hotel Room, having no idea of the importance of the show that was coming up the next day! In Fact it Was The World Show in Amsterdam… Vuitton was placed first in puppy bitch…it was her first show and she was totally naked looking more like a Basenji than an akita puppy but she enjoyed every minute of the show and of course enjoyed the fuss made about her in the hotel …. Tony was 2nd in Jr dog And Mary stole the show being awarded the title of: JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPION and RES CAC at the tender age of 10 months! Quite incredible… Then we went to the SPECIAL JAPANESE KENNEL CLUB SHOW…and were absolutely thrilled by Mr Kamisato’s judging . He awarded TONY first in JR Dog and Mary was first in JR bitch &also BEST OPPOSITE SEX!!!!!! Ooohhhh what a day!!!!
